Sulakma obtained her J.D. cum laude from Western Michigan Cooley Law School. She is an English-Sinhalese bilingual attorney.  She was born in Sri Lanka and her family immigrated to Canada when she was a child. Many years later she started the immigration process to become a U.S. citizen. Sulakma understands the complexities of navigating the immigration system because she gone through it. She knows from personal experience how stressful and anxiety-provoking the process can be. That’s why Sulakma makes the extra effort to treat her clients like family.
